Projekt Nr. 3: Moody Plant

DSC_0446 2

A comprehensive and representative study revealed that about 82% of plant
owners1 claim to NOT have a green thumb. This results in the premature death of
a lot of vegetation. So what if there existed a plant that could tell you how it is
feeling? Not just a moisture sensor that you need to check on a regular basis but
literally tell you!
This is the concept of the ‘moody plant’: A touch sensitive, talking plant that
communicates its current state of health with animal-like sounds and noises. If
you   take   care   of   your   organic   Tamagotchi,   it   may   purr   happily  or   squeak
excitedly. But if you forget to feed it, it will hiss at you the next time you interact.
So if you want to forge a deeper connection to your greenery and gift it a longer
life, this is your product!
